Activity 4 – Open Data Release

Activity Leader: José Ramón Ríos Viqueira (USC)

The main goal of this activity is the specification and analysis of the dataset and metadata formats according to the best practices and standard defined by the Forum for Air Quality Modelling (FAIRMODE), the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the adopted Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards of the Infrastructure for Spatial Information in Europe (INSPIRE) and other specifications. With respect to analysis, statistical techniques to identify outliers and missing data will be applied to verify the quality of the data released and in case amend or improve the obtained dataset. The metadata will be encoded using the W3C Data Catalog Vocabulary (DCAT) that will allow the populated dataset to be uploaded on the portals harvested by the European data portal.

USC leads this Activity and UNIMORE, UNIFI, UNIZAR, CMO, TR and CSC participate.
